Thank you! I am going to buy a portable storage drive now. USB probably is not enough. After I have backed up all the data, I will try to reformat the disk and re-install everything.

你可以买一个PORTABLE的硬盘，把所有文件先烤下来，顺便问一下BEST BUY 的人，需要做什么，是不是病毒。

1). leave your computer ON.
2). hookup a usb drive, backup...
3). try to re-install a system to see if it works... it is pretty easy to replace a HD (yank it out, put a new one in, make sure the same type, i.e. IDE, SATA, etc)...install sys. restore files.

Portable hard drive买好了。所有文件都备录下来了。现在是要重新装个internal hard drive。问了两个地方，都说要我原来的CD for Windows Vista,可是我找不到，好象买来的电脑根本没有带Windows Vista CD。

你需要一个 OS 操作系统才可以重新安装。(ORIGINAL 的WINDOWS 最好)
如果没有，你原来的HARD DRIVE 上应该有一个供RESTORE 的系统分区，也就是可以
RESET 你的系统到出厂时的状态(Just like what Shark suggested)。
你可以再看看原来的HARD DRIVE是否真有问题。 一是RUN "chkdsk" COMMAND 来修复
坏的数据分区。二是RUN 硬件检查程序(所有机器都有)。
GOOGLE SEARCH 一下会有很大帮助。最后，系统问题都没有100%可以严格FOLLOW的步
骤，可能你要多倒腾几下。做了备分就不用担心了。

现在文件全部备录了，最大的担心已经没有了。剩下的我可以慢慢搞。电脑还能用，速度和也没有慢。(那个电脑主要儿子在用，真坏几天也没有关系。)
